The sun was gone; the streets bathed in silver moonlight as snowflakes twinkled and danced their way to the ground. They say that no two of the fluttering white crystals are the same, but that only applies as they fall.
Once they settled, they became one with all of their once unique companions, blanketing the earth in a sheet of pristine white. They became indistinguishable from one another.
But that doesn’t mean that they were not still special, those snowflakes, that together brought beauty and cosiness to winter and laughter to friends as they pelted one another with powdery snowballs.
